Former Nigerian High Commissioner Leads Dignitaries at Prayer for Journalist’s Wife’s 70th Birthday

Former Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Ambassador Sarafa Isola, was among the dignitaries who attended a special prayer session organised by the Egba Muslim Community on Tuesday to mark the 70th birthday of Alhaja Fatimoh Jimoh, wife of veteran journalist and media consultant, Alhaji Nojeem Jimoh.

The prayer session, held at LUKJIM Hotel and Resorts in Abeokuta, Ogun State, was part of a week-long programme of activities celebrating Alhaja Jimoh’s milestone birthday.

The event was led by the Chief Imam of Egbaland, Sheikh Sa’adullah Bamgbola, with support from senior Muslim clerics drawn from across Egbaland.

Ambassador Isola, who is also the Baba Adinni of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, attended the event alongside his wife, Alhaja Soliat Isola.

Other prominent guests included the former Chief Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta, Dr Sunday Sotiloye; the Publisher of The Shield Online, Alhaji Mikail Mumuni; the Secretary of the Ogun State Muslim Council, Asiwaju Kamaldeen Akintunde; and the Seriki Adeen of Gbagura Adatan Muslims, Alhaji Amusan Yusuf Olatunji, among other dignitaries.
