Entries have opened for the Kanga Fashion Week (KFW) 2022, which is powered by four partners. Under the theme, Fashion Fusion, registration for KFW opened on 1 September and closes on 29 October.

Registration fee is N5,000, while a cash prize of N100,000 is to be won.

KFW is organised by Treaty’s 360° Fashion House, Kanga Couture, Sahara Fashions and Soritz by Reeta.

Prospective participants in the fashion contest are required to pick, complete and submit a form; and get a model, and design the attire in compliance with the terms and conditions of the contest.

There will be vetting and screening of the entries by a panel of accessors knowledgeable in the fashion industry.

Interested participants are encouraged to visit the social media handles of the organisers to apply.

CEO of  Treaty’s 360° Fashion House, Abdullahi Abdulhakeem assured participants of a level playing field. He said “I have always had the dream of helping young people achieve their aim in life, giving them a platform to be able to reach out to the stars and find purpose in a country that has little to offer the youths. This platform will lend a helping hand to young entrepreneurs and help struggling fashion designers find their feet in the industry.

“Our interest is in discovering local talents in the fashion sector and nurturing them to be the best you can find anywhere in the world”.
