The Meeting Point Event Centre, at Gudu District of Abuja witnessed a large gathering of dignitaries that graced the traditional wedding ceremony of the daughter of political influencer, Dr Jerry Nwohu.

The event last Saturday could rightly be described as a carnival. It was a convergence of crème de la crème of the society, from different parts of the country.

The chairman, former Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, who was accompanied by his wife, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, admonished the young couple on mutual love, understanding, and tolerance. He prayed for God’s blessings and prosperity for the marriage

The Father of the Day, former Benue State Governor, Senator George Akume was represented by his former deputy, Chief Stephen Lawani.

The environment of the wedding ceremony was impressively captivating as guests who were adorned in contemporary garments had a good time spiced with the sonorous music that blarred from the gadgets of the standby music band and a disc jockey who knew his onions.

Highlights of the event included the traditional breaking of kola, which was officiated by Eze (Dr) Nwosu to mark the official solemnisation of the marriage.

Guests were treated to different meals and choice drinks as the couple and their families danced to music dished out by a standby band at the joyous occasion.

The couple, Tracy and Samuel, also took to the dance floor to the admiration of their parents and dignatries.
