Finland’s top university, the Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences (SeAMK) has appointed Brand Stewards Nigeria Limited as its strategic partner in Nigeria and Ghana for marketing and student recruitment. President/CEO of SeAMK, Dr. Jaakko Hallila; and Founder/CEO of Brand Stewards Limited, Mr. Ademola Akinbola signed the three-year partnership agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

By the provisions of the agreement, Brand Stewards is expected to manage the process of recruiting students in Nigeria and Ghana into all international Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes available at SeAMK.

Akinbola thanked SeAMK for the confidence reposed in Brand Stewards’ ability to strengthen the University’s brand in West Africa and complement plans to increase student enrolment figures. “As a foremost international brand marketing consultancy, we have the knowledge and the experience in education marketing. It is a familiar terrain for us, and we will do our best as usual to make SeAMK a household name in Nigeria and Ghana. Finnish education is one of the best in the world, hence we are happy to work on this brief and open a new vista for Nigerians and Ghanaians desiring to study in Finland”, Akinbola, a former Head of Communications and Marketing at British Council Nigeria, added.

Also, Akinade, a consultant to Business Finland in Nigeria and Ghana, said that there was no better time to deepen the educational collaboration between both countries and Finland. He said he has met and worked with Finnish-trained Nigerians and Ghanaians in the course of his engagement with Business Finland and he is convinced that an academic pursuit in Finland is surely a step in the right direction.
