According to Naina Raisinghani, product manager at Google DeepMind, Nano Banana Pro excels at rendering legible text directly in images, whether for short captions or detailed paragraphs, while maintaining consistency across complex compositions.
‘It also integrates advanced 4K-ready editing tools, allowing users to adjust lighting, focus, and camera angles, producing polished visuals suitable for digital and print media. The model can generate context-rich infographics and diagrams by connecting to Google Search, ensuring outputs are not only visually compelling but also factually accurate’, Raisinghani affirmed.
The launch comes amid growing interest in AI tools, particularly in Nigeria, where searches for ‘AI for studying’ have surged by over 200 percent in the past year, and ‘AI for graphic design’ ranks among the top trending AI queries.

With the new SynthID verification tool, users can check whether an image was created by Google AI, addressing concerns about misinformation. Additionally, visible watermarks have been removed for Google AI Ultra tier subscribers while retaining an imperceptible digital watermark, enabling professional use without sacrificing verification.
Nano Banana Pro is rolling out globally today across Google’s ecosystem. Consumers can access it via the Gemini app, with higher usage quotas for AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers, while businesses can integrate it into Google Ads, Slides, Vids, and developers can leverage it through the Gemini API and Vertex AI for scalable creative production.
