Abdullahi said: ‘His efforts have boosted the morale of troops and enhanced patriotism and nationalism. The Nigerian Army, under his leadership, indicates aggressive development, behavioural and tactical changes in the fight against insecurity.
‘The CoAS has prioritised the welfare of Army personnel, approving infrastructural interventions across the Army formations and barracks, training, equipping Army operational bases, and enhancing welfare packages for personnel and their families.
‘General Oluyede’s visit to Jos and Benue State demonstrates his proactive approach to addressing security challenges. He met with field commanders to discuss strategies and boost morale, and visited affected communities to reassure residents of the Army’s commitment to their safety’.
