The newly elected chairman of the Governors’ Forum, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, who is the Governor of Kwara State, has receive commendation from the chairman of Henry George Group, Sir Oladimeji Ladi Thompson.
According to Prince Thompson, a seasoned contractor and enterprise leader, the new leadership role would spur the citizens of the state, both at home and in the Diaspora, to support the AbdulRazaq administration.
He charged the Governor to consolidate on his leadership role, which he exhibited in Kwara State in his first four years, by fighting for the masses, the less privileged, and the downtrodden, whom he gave the unique opportunity in the state to leave a better life.
Thompson believed that the new responsibility would be an inspiration to other governors in Nigeria.
He expressed his gratitude to AbdulRazaq in the areas of infrastructure in education, health, commerce, and sports development, particularly football, where he (Thompson) had served as the chairman of Kwara United and patron of Beach Soccer in the state.
