The Ibadan branch of the Young Lawyers Forum of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has elected Oluwatomiwa James Fadeyi as its Chairman, and other executive officers to direct its affairs for the next two years.
At a properly monitored election that took place at the Aare Afe Babalola Bar Centre, Iyaganku, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital Fadeyi polled 34 votes to defeat his closest rival, Awere Bolanle Ajoke, who scored 12.
In his undergraduate years, Fadeyi was the President of Adeleke University Students Association, Ede, Osun State.
According to a statement by the Chairman of the electoral committee, Kehinde Sennuga; and Secretary; Basit Oluwatimileyin Busari, other officers elected to serve with Fadeyi are: Kayode Kareem (Secretary), Bukola Onyewenu (Social Secretary) and Damilola Israel Olujimi (Publicity Secretary).
Also elected into the executive committee are: Taiwo Oladipupo (Vice-Chairman), Nifemi Bamisaye (Assistant Secretary) and Aminat Amoo (Financial Secretary/Treasurer).
Fadeyi is Head of Chambers at Adebayo and Gbadamosi Chambers..
