The Akin Fadeyi Foundation (AFF) has launched iQuolify, a recruitment portal for professionals and job seekers in Canada, Europe, and America.

During the portal’s virtual launch on Tuesday, AFF Executive Director and Founder of the project, Mr. Akin Fadeyi said that the portal would ensure qualified professionals get commensurate rewards for their skills through high-value recruitments.

He said the portal would showcase immigrants to prospective employers until they are able to optimally integrate into the system.

“iQuolify is a well thought out digital recruitment solution for immigrant professionals who compromise their qualifications for jobs below their pay grade outside their countries.

“iQuolify will focus on showcasing immigrants to prospective employers, data analytics for policymakers, mentoring, and training until target immigrants are able to optimally integrate and unlock their potential,” Fadeyi said.

MacArthur Foundation Country Director, Kole Shettima said the portal aligned with the foundation’s work culture of creating a fair playing field for all individuals.

“At the MacArthur Foundation, we ensure that our decisions and actions are rooted in the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion by embracing the unique attributes of all individuals; creating a fair playing field for all; and cultivating environments where everyone feels respected, valued, and a sense of belonging. iQuolify, is, therefore, a very compelling fit into our work culture, and I commend the initiative”, he said.

A multiple award-winning actress and social advocate, Kate Henshaw expressed delight at the initiative, describing the project as one whose time has come.

She said that iQuolify would bring solutions to less dignifying jobs which many in the diaspora have taken because they “find themselves disadvantaged as migrants and then resort to menial jobs”.

According to Fadeyi, iQuolify was launched with the aim to take migrants from where they are to where they want to be and would solve the problem of migrating only when one has a job offer.

Advertisement videos of job seekers are vetted before they go live on the portal for quality control after which recruiters find qualified applicants by clicking on profiles.
