Ifeanyi Ubah, Anambra South Senator, dies at 52

Popular oil mogul and politician, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah died in London on Friday. He was 52 years old.

A few months ago, Ubah, who joined the All Progressives Congress (APC), was billed to seek the party’s ticket ahead of the Anambra State governorship election.

The Senator representing Anambra South in the upper legislative chamber reportedly slumped after suffering what family sources described to as cardiac arrest.

A source said he made a monetary donation to the state APC chapter two days ago.

This is coming just few days after the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu also died.

For years, Ubah was CEO of downstream oil marketer, Capital Oil.
