Jimmy Odukoya succeeds father, Taiwo, as Fountain of Life’s Senior Pastor

Late Pastor Taiwo Odukoya’s son, Jimmy is the new Senior Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church (TFOLC).

The son of Pastor Taiwo Odukoya and his late wife, Bimbo, Pastor Jimmy Odukoya replaces his father, who died 7th August in the United States.

In the announcement , Pastor Tolu Odukoya Ijogun, the sister of Pastor Jimmy Odukoya, was also named the Associate Pastor.

Pastor Rotimi Okpaise revealed during Sunday’s service at the church that the late Taiwo Odukoya had shared his succession plan with the Board of Trustees (B0T).

Okpaise further stated that Jimmy was also chosen as Chairperson of the Board by unanimous decision from the BoT.

According to him, the ordination service is scheduled for 30th September.

Pastor Taiwo Odukoya was laid to rest in Lagos eight days ago.

Less than two years earlier, he had experienced the loss of his second wife, Nomthi, a South African, on 9th November 2021, following a two-year battle with cancer.

Odukoya’s union with Nomthi lasted for 11 years and resulted in the birth of two boys.

Before his marriage to Nomthi, Odukoya had been married to Bimbo for 21 years. She died on 11th December 2005 as a result of injuries sustained in the Sosoliso plane crash a day earlier in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State.
