Following Thursday’s reinstatement of Sanusi Lamido Sanusi (Muhammadu Sanusi II) as the Emir of Kano four years after his dethronement, the General Overseer of Kaduna-based Christ Evangelical and Life Intervention Ministry, Pastor Yohanna Buru has expressed heartfelt congratulations to the monarch.
Dr. Buru emphasised the importance of unwavering support from the people of Kano State for their reinstated king.
In his message, Buru conveyed his excitement about the reinstatement of the former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor.
He called on citizens and Northerners to unite in prayer and support for the Emir.
The Pastor prayed to Allah to grant the Emir wisdom and courage in his role as a leader for the people of Kano, the Northern region, and Nigeria as a whole.
“May your reign be filled with joy and prosperity, and may God keep you and your family in good health”, he prayed.
The Christian cleric commended the Kano State Government for addressing the people’s desires and correcting past wrongs.
He urged the community to fully support the Emir, ensuring his successful reign.
“I extend my best wishes for a long and happy reign. May your tenure be marked by peace, happiness, and success”, Buru said.
He also called on all Nigerians to live in peace and unity, promoting harmony across the nation.
