The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has approved the deployment of three new permanent secretaries and the redeployment of three others in the Lagos State Public Service.
The new permanent secretaries are Mrs Olushekun Olayide, Mr Obadina Akinbode, and Mrs Akanbi Ganiat.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Lagos State Head of Service, Mr Hakeem Muri-Okunola, and made available to newsmen on Sunday.
According to the statement, Olayide was deployed to Local Government Establishments and Training Office; Akinbode to Local Government Service Commission; while Ganiat was deployed to the Office of the Chief of Staff.
Expressing confidence in the new appointees, Muri-Okunola said they possessed the experience, competence, and qualities required to serve in the rank of Permanent Secretary in the Lagos State Public Service.
The permanent secretaries redeployed by Governor Sanwo-Olu are Musa Moroof, who moved to the Office of the Chief of Staff, under the Office of Establishment and Training; Kosegbe Abiola to Local Government Service Commission, under the Office of Civic Engagement; and Onayele Abiodun, redeployed to the Office of Establishment and Training, under the Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment.
While wishing all the appointees a rewarding and impactful tenure, the Head of Service said the deployment and redeployment were with immediate effect, adding that the affected permanent secretaries were to ensure proper handover.
