LASEMA alerts motors of fallen fuel truck on Lagos-Ibadan expressway

The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) has alerted motorists and road users about a tanker carrying petrol which fell at Ikosi on the Lagos – Ibadan Expressway on Thursday.

LASEMA’s Permanent Secretary, Dr Olufemi Damilola Oke-Osanyintolu said in a statement that the truck “overturned and is spilling petrol”.

He added: “The agency has activated its response plan and is working along LASTMA (Lagos State Traffic Management Authority) and other responders to manage traffic flow and to curtail any secondary incident occurring”.
