Mouka, the leading manufacturer of mattresses, pillows, and other bedding products, has rewarded the best graduating students from all faculties of the prestigious Elizade University, in Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State, with cash grants of N100,000 each.

This was at the sixth and seventh convocation ceremony of the institution recently.

The initiative, Mouka’s Award of Excellence programme was flagged off in 2020 and is part of the company’s CSR pillar Skills for Life. It is aimed at supporting the students as they step into their next phase of life.

In the celebration of excellence, Mouka rewards the top students in each faculty and educates them about prioritising quality sleep while striving for distinction academically or professionally.

Through this scheme and other initiatives, the company has continued to raise awareness for the role of quality sleep in academic excellence. In addition, Mouka has crafted affordable sleep solutions such as Comfy and Flora mattresses which are available in bunk-bed and single-bed sizes for students in secondary schools and tertiary institutions to support quality sleep.

For younger children, Mouka also designed the Dreamtime mattress, which is covered with a water-resistant yet breathable fabric that prevents fluids from slipping into the product’s core. It also has a soft cover that keeps the child’s body cool and comfortable through the night, so they can wake up refreshed to stay alert at school.
