Pro- Chancellor of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Prof. Ayodeji Oludare Omole has appealed to Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde to continue to support the university to achieve meaningful results.
At the commissioning of the Iseyin campus of the institution over the weekend, Prof. Omole, who is also Chairman of institution’s Governing Council. pointed out that the university would need to employ more staff, procure more equipment and have more facilities for the two campuses.
Omole, who praised the Makinde-led administration to high-heaven for ensuring that a good job was done of the Iseyin campus project, said: “I want to appeal to the Oyo State governor and Visitor to LAUTECH to provide at least two buses and two ambulances for the University for the use of staff and students in the two campuses”.
While emphasising that provision of the identified items would aid commuting between the two campuses, Omole also appealed to Makinde to increase the subvention being given to the university.
