Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde has approved the appointment of nine aides for his deputy, Barrister Bayo Lawal.
The names of the new appointees were contained in a letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the governor, Segun Ogunwuyi and released on Tuesday.
The new appointees included; Ajagbe Yusuf Olatunji, Special Assistant (Political); Sakariyah Kunle Sanni, Special Assistant (Administration); Hassan Ajibade, Special Assistant (Legal); Omoetan Omolere, Special Assistant (Print Media) and Badmus Adesola, Special Assistant (Domestic).
Others are; Oyedeji Ahmed, Special Assistant (Public Affairs); Alhaji Nasiru Ayinde, Special Assistant (Projects); Ajibade Waheed Ademola, Special Assistant (Media Online); and Mutalib Adewale, Personal Assistant.
In a statement, the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Sulaimon Olanrewaju noted that Makinde congratulated the new appointees, and urged them to see their appointments as a call to service.
He added that the governor also approved the appointment of Miss Adetola Adedibu as Special Assistant to the Governor on Liaison Office, Abuja.
Adedibu is one of the daughters of the late Chief Lamidi Adedibu, famously described as ‘the strongman of Ibadan politics’ for many decades.
