Manchester United will reportedly look to complete the signing of Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain if the Qatari takeover bid is successful.
According to SunSport, Qatar billionaire, Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al Thani, is eyeing an ambitious takeover of Man United and he is interested in bringing Neymar to Old Trafford.
However, neither Hamad al Thani’s bid nor Sir Jim Ratcliffe of Ineos have matched the Glazers’ price tag of £6 billion yet.
Hamad al Thani is interested in a full purchase of the Red Devils, while Sir Jim Ratcliffe prefers a partial takeover.
Neymar, meanwhile, continues to be one of the world’s best talents in football despite his struggles this season.
The Brazilian could potentially serve as a marquee signing for Manchester United’s new ownership.
The 31-year-old’s contract is set to expire in the summer of 2025, but there is an option to extend it up to 2027.
