The National Planning Committee (NPC) of the Nigeria Public Relations Week (NPRW), which holds in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, from 19 to 24 May 2025, has announced partnership with Ibom Air.
In a statement on Wednesday, NPC chair. Chief Yomi Badejo-Okusanya said that Ibom Air is offering a heavily discounted rate of N240,000 return ticket on the economy class on Uyo routes.
He said that booking and payment should however be made on or before 12 May.
Badejo-Okusanya explained: ‘As the airline has insisted on collecting airfares at a go, we have appointed a travel agent for the process.
‘Please note that it will charge an additional transaction fee of N5,000.00.
‘Please make your booking through Chinwe of Ace Voyages with contact telephone number +2348061640504.
‘Please note that the National Planning Committee cannot take responsibility for missed or rescheduled flights. Such issues will lie within the purview of the agent
‘Secondly, the airlines are not obliged to reserve seats for us in perpetuity and will at a point, sell them to the general public in order to avoid flying empty or at sub capacity.
‘The NPC therefore urges you to immediately secure your travel arrangements to avoid possible disappointments’.
