NIPR unveils Lagos Digital PR Summit’s Goodwill Ambassador

The Lagos State chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and Upticomm Marketing Company on Tuesday unveiled Tokunboh George-Taylor as the Goodwill Ambassador of the eighth Lagos Digital PR Summit ahead of the event holding at the Sheraton Lagos Hotel from Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th October.

George-Taylor is the pioneering Managing Director of Hill+Knowlton Strategies Nigeria, one of the world’s leading global communications companies. She has over 29 years of experience in the communications industry, and specialises in public relations, advocacy, public affairs, community relations, marketing, and branding in the telecom, IT, finance, education, energy, and oil and gas sectors.

Chairman of the Lagos NIPR, Mrs. Comfort Obot Nwankwo said that “Tokunboh embodies professionalism, and her values align with the brand mission to elevate communication practitioners’ communication skills and practices to new heights and unlock AI potential for upscaling to the next level. We are excited about the partnership”.

The Senior Public Relations Manager of DStv Nigeria, Laolu Thomas is also headlining the summit, which continues to attract a group of highly talented and experienced professionals from top businesses and digital marketing communications organizations who are bringing their unique insights and real-world expertise to the event.

Only last week, the organisers unveiled a stellar line-up of speakers for the year’s edition.

The Lagos Digital Public Relations Summit is the first digital training platform in sub-Saharan Africa. Since its inception in 2016, it has been a leader in educating professionals about how artificial intelligence is changing the field of public relations.
