The maiden session was declared open in 2022 in Lagos by NOC President, Engr. Habu Ahmed Gumel.

Two certified IOC course directors – Prof. Fasan Clement of UNILAG; and the Finance Director of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa, Dr Jonathan Dyagas – will facilitate the programme. They will assisted by Dr Muyiwa Adeyeye, also of UNILAG.
