Yoruba Nollywood actress and social media influencer, Nimmy Ferrari, has died days before she was expected to celebrate the completion of her new house in Sagamu, Ogun State.
News of her death was announced by her colleague, actress Oluwakemisola Apesin, popularly known as Kemity, in an emotional social media post.
“Everybody is back home, we left only you IDERA Nimmyferrari, it is well,” Kemity wrote.
Ferrari had been building a name for herself in the Yoruba film industry and on social media before her death.
Her passing came as she was reportedly preparing to celebrate the completion of her newly built home in Sagamu.
Reports circulating on social media have linked her death to alleged complications following surgery for fibroids.
However, Ferrari’s family has yet to officially disclose the cause of her death, and the reports linking her passing to complications from the surgery have not been independently verified.
Videos circulating online on Monday, September 7, 2026, showed mourners gathered at Ferrari’s newly completed residence in Sagamu.
Reports also indicated that arrangements were being made for her burial at the property, where she had reportedly planned to hold her housewarming celebration.
The development has heightened the shock surrounding her death, with the actress reportedly set to mark a major personal milestone at the same property shortly before her passing.
Her death has since sparked an outpouring of grief among colleagues, friends and followers on social media.
