Omo-Agege condoles with Deputy Speaker over Emir’s death

The death of the Emir of Bashar, Alhaji Adamu Idris is the end of a remarkable era in the history of Bashar Emirate of Plateau State, Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege has said.

In a condolence message personally signed by him, Senator Omo-Agege commiserated with the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives,  Rt. Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase and the people of Barshar Emirate.

“The late Emir, Alhaji Adamu Idris, who is elder brother to our dear Deputy Speaker, passed away at the age of 96, with a long reign that signposts a remarkable era in the lives of his people.

“As we pray for God Almighty to grant his soul eternal repose, I urge the entire people of Barshar Emirate to find consolation in their faith as well as the long, fruitful years with which God Almighty blessed Emir Alhaji Adamu Idris,” he stated.
