Ondo State government said it has concluded plans to recruit teachers to fill critical vacancies in all public primary schools across the state.
The Executive Chairman of the state Universal Basic Education Board (ODSUBEB), Rt. Hon. Victor Olabimtan gave the indications in a chat with the media after an audience with Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa recently.
He said the governor is convinced about the needs for the state to recruit qualified teachers to fill critical vacancies in all the public primary schools in the state.
According to a statement by ODSUBEB’s Director of Press and Public Relations, Prince Bolu Diesel Ajijo, the former Speaker of the state House of Assembly underscored the importance of teachers in the education sector under the Redeemed Agenda of the state administration.
While advising parents, guardians and job seekers to be wary of the activities of job racketeers in order not to fall a victim, Olabimtan appealed to them to wait patiently for the commencement of the recruitment processes by the Board.
Recruitment of teachers is one of the urgent demands the Chairman of ODSUBEB presented to the Governor during the courtesy visit by the Board members and management last month.
