Victor Osimhen says Monday night’s victory over Fenerbahçe is for Galatasaray head coach Okan Buruk.
The Yellow and Reds defeated their fierce rivals 2-1 in the intercontinental derby at the RAMS Park.
Osimhen was the star of the show, grabbing both goals for the Yellow and Reds in the keenly contested encounter.
The Nigeria international has now scored three goals in his last two matches for Galatasaray.
The striker said the wins against Lille and Galatasaray are a gift for Buruk, who recently celebrated his 53rd birthday.
“We love our coach Okan Buruk very much. Beyond being our technical director, we love him like a father, Osimhen was quoted by Sporx.
“He’s a very good person both on and off the field. We wanted to gift him victories against both Lille and Fenerbahçe, and we succeeded.
