A week after he was hospitalised, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is back on his feet, grateful to Nigerians and all those who showed concern.
In a statement on Sunday, Osinbajo also thanked the medical team that performed the surgical operation.
The medical team at Duchess International Hospital, Ikeja, Lagos had carried out the operation following complaints by the Vice President of a “recurring pain in the leg“.
The full statement, signed by Osinbajo himself, reads:
“My deep gratitude to everyone for your get-well wishes and prayers following my surgery.
“And special appreciation to the amazing team of surgeons, doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, and the management of the Duchess International Hospital, Lagos, for providing such excellent care.
“God bless you all”.
