The suspension order placed on the caretaker Chairman of Ede South Local Government Council of Osun State, Hon. Lukman Afolabi was lifted on Thursday by the state House of Assembly.
This was revealed by the Chief Press Secretary of the Speaker, Mr. Olamide Tiamiyu.
Afolabi was suspended by the House of Assembly on Wednesday over alleged misconduct.
He was instructed to hand over to his vice, however after an investigation, the suspension was lifted.
The House said: “The decision was taken after the parliamentary meeting of the Assembly today when the honourable members reviewed the investigations conducted.
“The Assembly has therefore recalled the Chairman to resume office with immediate effect”.
