The Owa Obokun Adimula, His Imperial Majesty Adesuyi Haastrup (Ajimoko III), has appointed a 15-member advisory council, a six-member Private Advisory Team and another six-high profile professionals as palace officials.
The appointments by the Owa, who is also the paramount ruler of Ijesaland, takes effect from Thursday, 1 January 2026.
According to a statement on Wednesday by the Ajirowa of Ijesaland, Chief Lateef Bakare said that the appointments were made to enhance the effective administration of the palace and assist the Owa in the seamless implementation of his comprehensive and all-inclusive development agenda for Ijesaland.
The advisory council comprises eminent and accomplished Ijesa, who are cruising at the commanding heights of their respective areas of calling, and making significant contributions to Nigeria’s development, and the growth and progress of Ijesaland.
