P-BAT holds summit on activating Renewed Hope agenda

The P-BAT Academics and Professional has announced will hold a National Summit on policy making in Nigeria today (Thursday) in Abuja.

A statement by the spokesperson of the group, Mrs. Mary Ikoku stated that the summit tagged, ‘Abuja 2024 National Policy Summit’, will take place at the Shehu Yar Adua Centre.

The statement revealed that the summit aims at ‘Activating the Policies and Promises in the Renewed Hope Agenda’ of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to Ikoku, President Tinubu would be the keynote speaker and special guest of honor.

Some other speakers expected to feature in the summit are former Minister of Health,  Prof Isaac Adewole who will handle a topic centered on Healthcare and Citizen Wellbeing of Nigerians; and Engr. Samuel Babatunde, who will speak on the Oil and Gas sector.

Prof. Amuda-Kannike will lecture on Constitutional Reform, while Olufemi Boyede will talk on Industry, Trade, and Investment. Others include Prof. Babaniyi Babatope, who will speak on Hi-Tech; and Ms. N. K. Fidimaiye, who is expected to handle a topic on National Orientation. The rest are: Prof Segun Awonusi, expected to speak on Education and Training and Bolade Agbola to lecture on Agriculture/Food Security.

The Summit Chairperson will be Prof. Yemi Oke.

Other Special Guests of Honour are Vice President Kashim Shettima; Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi; and Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Sa’ad Abubakar.

The rest include Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Ariwoola; Senate President Godswill Akpabio; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abass Tajudeen, President of Africa Development Bank, Dr.  Akinwumi Adesina; and National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Ajibola Bashiru.
