Coach Jose Santos Peseiro has named the Super Eagles squad for the upcoming international friendly matches against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique in Portugal.
Defenders Kenneth Omeruo and Bright Osayi-Samuel, midfielder Alex Iwobi, and forward Terem Moffi have been recalled to the squad while Fisayo Dele-Bashiru gets his first-ever invitation, and goalkeepers Francis Uzoho, Adebayo Adeleye, and Olorunleke Ojo were retained.
The Super Eagles will face the Green Falcons of Saudi Arabia on 13 October 2023, in Portimão, Portugal, followed by a clash with the Mambas of Mozambique three days later.
These matches are part of the team’s preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches.
