The Molokwu family of Onitsha, Anambra State has announced the death of Mrs Benedicta Bamidele Molokwu. Her husband, Col. Akunnia Ikem Molokwu (rtd.) was Special Adviser on Security to former Anambra State Governor, Mr. Peter Obi.
A Deaconess of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Onitsha, Mrs Molokwu passed away at 70 last 13 December.
She is survive by her husband; daughter, Ogechukwukamma; two stepdaughters, two stepsons and step-grandchildren.
Others are a sister, Pastor (Mrs.) Bose Musa; a brother, Mr. James Akota Ehinomen; uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and cousins.
According to a statement by Chinedu Molokwu, the family said that lying-in-state and funeral service will hold on Friday, 31 January 2025, from 6:30 am. at her home, 15 Ogbuli Nwawulu Street, Inland Town, Onitsha.
Interment will follow by Noon at Ehanle Ewu, Edo State.
