Reality TV star Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, and actress Nkechi Blessing are set to face off in a celebrity boxing bout scheduled for October 1, 2026.
The fight, tagged “Phyna vs Nkechi,” will take place at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos as part of the “Chaos in the Ring” series organised by Balmoral Group Promotions.
The bout was announced by Balmoral Group Promotions and DAZN Boxing on Friday, with the event scheduled to be broadcast live on DAZN and SuperSport.
Powered by Bet9ja, the contest is the latest celebrity boxing event under the series, which has previously featured entertainers including Portable, Charles Okocha, Speed Darlington and Carter Efe.
Promotional materials released by the organisers showed Phyna and Nkechi Blessing dressed in boxing attire ahead of the October 1 showdown.
The organisers are yet to announce details of the undercard and ticketing arrangements for the event.
