US President Donald Trump has listed 25 achievements he says his administration has recorded since returning to the White House in January 2025.
Trump made the claims in a post on his Truth Social platform on Friday, September 18, 2026, highlighting policies and actions covering immigration, taxation, trade, crime, defence, energy, education and foreign affairs.
Among the claims, Trump described the US-Mexico border as the “most secure border in history”, cited the signing of the Laken Riley Act and claimed his administration had overseen the largest drop in the US murder rate.
He also pointed to tax provisions in the One Big Beautiful Bill, including measures relating to federal taxes on tips, overtime and Social Security benefits.
Trump’s 25-point list reads:
- Achieved what he described as the most secure border in history, claiming zero illegal aliens had been admitted to the United States in the previous 16 months.
- Signed the Laken Riley Act, which he said was aimed at removing dangerous criminal aliens from US streets.
- Claimed the largest drop in the murder rate ever recorded, bringing it to its lowest level in 125 years.
- Signed what he described as the largest tax cuts in American history through the Great Big Beautiful Bill, including provisions concerning taxes on tips, overtime and Social Security benefits.
- Claimed his administration had secured commitments for $19.2 trillion in new investment in the United States.
- Imposed tariffs aimed at boosting American manufacturing, including 50 per cent tariffs on foreign copper, aluminium and steel, and 25 per cent tariffs on foreign automobiles.
- Claimed the stock market had recorded 80 all-time record highs since the election.
- Said more Americans were working than at any other time in the country’s history.
- Claimed the largest-ever investment in the US Armed Forces, putting this year’s figure at $1 trillion and projecting $1.5 trillion next year.
- Claimed his administration captured and brought Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro to justice through Operation Absolute Resolve. US government sources have separately referred to the operation and Maduro’s capture.
- Claimed Operations Midnight Hammer and Epic Fury had “obliterated” Iran’s nuclear enrichment capacity and would prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. US defence sources have also described the two operations and their objectives.
- Claimed military strikes against drug cartels had reduced the flow of fentanyl across the US border by 60 per cent.
- Claimed Most Favoured Nation agreements had reduced the cost of various prescription medicines by price differences ranging from 300 to 600 per cent.
- Said his administration had ended the Green New Deal policies, declared a National Energy Emergency and expanded oil and gas drilling.
- Said it had ended the electric vehicle mandate and other regulations affecting American automobile manufacturers.
- Claimed US exports had reached their highest level in history and said the country was on course to export $2.5 trillion in goods during the year.
- Said his administration had abolished what it described as discriminatory Diversity, Equity and Inclusion policies throughout the federal government and private sector.
- Said his administration had banned men from competing in women’s sports.
- Said it had banned transgender ideology and critical race theory in US schools.
- Said it had launched Trump Accounts, tax-free investment accounts for American children, beginning with $1,000 for each newborn.
- Claimed his administration had settled eight wars through peace agreements within its first 12 months, including the war in Gaza.
- Claimed all living hostages had been returned to their families, alongside the remains of deceased hostages.
- Said the administration had halted refugee admissions to the United States, including admissions from Somalia and other countries.
- Said the National Guard had been deployed to restore “law and order” in Washington, DC, Memphis and New Orleans.
- Claimed his administration had made English the official language of the United States.
The list was released as the Trump administration continues to promote its record ahead of the 2026 US midterm elections.
