The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has commenced the medical screening exercise for selected candidates in the ongoing 2022 Police Constable Recruitment process.

The screening, which began on 26 February, 2025, will run until 12 March  2025, across 17 designated Police Zonal Headquarters nationwide.

According to a statement on Thursday by the Force Public Relations Officer, Assistant Commissioner Olumuyiwa Adejobi, he medical screening is already in progress.

He said: ‘The medical screening exercise for invited candidates in the ongoing 2022 Recruitment of Police Constable has since commenced.

‘The exercise, scheduled for 26 February to 12 March 2025, is currently taking place at designated centres in the 17 Police Zonal Headquarters’.

This phase follows the Computer-Based Test (CBT) held on 5-6 March 2024, after which the first batch of successful candidates was invited for training, Adejobi said.

The NPF is now urging all other candidates who participated in the CBT to check their application status via the official recruitment portal: apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng and print their invitation slips.

He advised: ‘Other candidates who participated in the CBT are hereby advised to log on to the recruitment portal apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng to check their application status and print invitation slip’.

According to the Police spokesperson, the NPF reassures applicants of a transparent and merit-based recruitment process, ’emphasising that only those who meet the required criteria will proceed to the next phase of training’.

Candidates are advised to comply with all screening requirements and attend their sessions promptly.
