Shettima arrives Ekiti airport on working visit, commissions landmark projects

Nigeria’s Vice President (VP), Senator Kashim Shettima, on Tuesday arrived at the Ekiti Agro-Allied International Cargo Airport, Ado- Ekiti for a one-day working visit to the State.

The Vice President arrived in a Presidential aircraft with registration number 5N-FGW at exactly 10:24am, and was received by Governor Biodun Oyebanji, his Ondo state counterpart, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Ekiti state Deputy Governor, Chief (Mrs) Monisade Afuye, the Senate Leader, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele and former Governor of the State, Engr Segun Oni, Speaker of Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Adeoye Aribasoye, and members of the stete executive Council.

After a brief airport ceremony, Vice President Shettima proceeded to the Ekiti Knowledge Zone (EKZ) along Ijan road, Aso Ekiti where he performed the grand breaking ceremony for the land mark project.

He later proceeded to the newly built Zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC ) where he committed the project.

The visit marks VP Shettima’s second official visit to Ekiti state having earlier in June 2024 paid a working visit to the state where he inaugurated the Omisanjana-Deeper Life-Ajebandele Road and the MSMSE clinic in Ado- Ekiti, among other activities.
