The Special Adviser on Sports and Youth Development to the Kwara State Governor, Mallam Attahiru Ibrahim has donated Gotv decoder and Mp3 musical radio set to the winners on the Sportspro News flagship radio show on Gerin FM.
Ibrahim explained that his support to the programme was borne out of his desire to support the development of sports at the grassroots, which is also one of the cardinal focus of the radio show anchored by the CEO and Publisher of Sportspro News, Bayour Issah.
The Special Adviser added that the programme, which, he said, evangelises “the giant strides of Governor Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq in the area of sports development throughout the nooks and crannies of the state” has become a strategic partner, hence the need to identify with it.
Issah commended Ibrahim, who is the Talban Samari of Patigi, for his gesture and noted that the donated items would be given out to callers on the show.
The one-hour programme, Sports No 1, which has been playing host to top sports personalities and athletes, comes from 9 am every Sunday on Gerin 95.5 FM.
The office of the Nigeria Pillar of Sports, under the leadership of Chief Donatus Agu Ejidike, and Wummca Table Water had earlier partnered with Sportspro News on similar project.
