The last and troubling phase of transition

As in nearly all great events, we human beings move about unsuspecting and when hinted about any of them we hardly believe, except where there are ceremonies, where there will be dancing and rejoicing. But when the event invites us into deep contemplation, it becomes enigmatic and we do not want to know. It is waved aside. Last Tuesday, 21 July, for example, marked the anniversary of the day the transition of our world to the last phase in its development and maturity began. A great many will say, “And so? How does that concern me?” All that is perishable has a beginning and an end. By way of illustration, there are stages in the development and attendant maturity in the lives of man, animals and plants, transiting from one level to the other, and all these within a strictly given time.

A man passes through four age periods. It is a cycle of development from cradle to the grave, that is from when he appears as a baby, unconscious of its environment and unable to recognise anybody even though it is alive. It grows gradually until it begins to flower and it becomes conscious of itself. Sense of shame develops and he dreams dreams. In other words, starting from childhood manifesting sanguine temperament; moving to early manhood, the age of dreaming and longing and displaying a melancholic temperament, a period he is seeing the world upside down and an irrepressible longing to overcome it and right wrongs develops. He moves on to the year of his full estate when he develops a choleric temperament urging him to action. His blood radiation changes. From there after crossing some more intervening gradations, he reaches the age of reflection, a period he is old physically and his movement becomes slow; the fire and agility of youth are gone. These are the observable traits in the developmental cycle of man brought about by radiation emanating from the blood which is itself formed from matter through the animation of the animistic and spirit in each of us.

The spirit itself set out as an unconscious spiritual particle following an urge inherent in the spirit, the urge taken and granted as supplication for a conscious existence. It develops gradually through experiences and through being fed with teaching of Nature, and later splitting of Truth brought by Teachers of Mankind and the prophets, then through revealed Truth brought directly from the All-Highest, by the Son of God, Jesus Christ Himself. Thus, if the spirit comes to a right and necessary recognition, and keeps to the teachings, he develops from being unconscious to self-conscious, from a spiritual seed to a fully developed human spirit—the true human being, now mature and clarified to return to the Spiritual realm, Paradise, his origin and home. I have explained this cycle of human development a few times today. If I may hasten to state, those created in the image of God are not human beings of this world and even when they return to Paradise, they cannot display the image of the Most High, the Creator. Those created in the image of God are Primordial Spiritual Beings who inhabit higher, Spiritual Realm—the image connoting certain attributes of God! The imperfect human beings of the earth cannot, therefore, be called the image of God with their baggage of sins which they have to sever before they can even be referred to as human beings in the real sense and meaning of the words.

That is, in all, from childhood that encompasses teenagerhood and from that level to a youth, then an adult and old man. The world made out to us as a school, our temporary dwelling place and home is material. Being material, it is perishable. It is the cloak of man that is perishable, not his essence, his real self, the spirit. What can happen is that he will lose consciousness, all he had gathered if he has not left the material world, the World of Matter, when this disintegrates. He will go into extinction with the World of Matter, and that is what is meant when it is said, “It is given unto man to die but once and he faces judgment.” It is the final judgment. Otherwise, what is left when the spirit has been so crushed and mangled and he loses all consciousness to the stage of spirit germ. Otherwise, when we die, we are permitted to come back in what is called reincarnation—the knowledge of which is widespread among all peoples and races–to atone for shortcomings that may be material.

As in the words of Herbert Vollmann in his compelling work, “A Gate Opens”: “Just as in the case of plants, animals and human beings, there are transitions in the process of maturing, during which a certain phase of development is concluded and a new one prepared, so is it again with the Universes. According to the Book of Revelation by John, there are seven Universes. These, too, have transitions from one stage of maturity to the next, and each time a Universe turns its previous state of development-maturity towards a new state of maturity, this is a Cosmic Turning-Point!

“But at some time in the cycle, comprising many millions of years, there comes for every Universe a last Turning-Point, after which it enters the state of over-ripeness. This is followed by decomposition and dissolution into the original substance, from which new, fresh Universes with new celestial bodies are then again formed.

“Such a last Turning-Point, which has been ordained ever since the beginning of Creation, has now come for our Universe, because its cycle is coming to the end and thus to dissolution. Naturally, this does not come to pass overnight, nor does it happen simultaneously for all the celestial bodies. But this Turning-Point, which brings the last phase of a long period of development, has already tangibly set in for the earth, manifesting in the ever-increasing revolutionary events of all kinds.”

Our Universe, Ephesus, has already entered its last phase as ordained by the Creator, the fulfilment of which occurred on 21 July, 1929, marking the beginning of the proverbial End-Time, the principal feature of which is World Judgment. The revolutionary events are engendered following purifying waves today sweeping through the world and displaying the trumpet blasts of the World Judgment. The trumpets have been blaring loud and clear in all parts of the world by way of climate change with unusual atmospheric phenomena, for example. Nearly all countries of the world are grappling with economic distress, monetary collapse, dreadful misery in some, political upheavals, social disturbances such as insecurity, swelling tide of chaos, collapse in relationships such as family units tearing apart, acrimony in associations, communal disharmony and violent dissensions. There are wars, the main ones at the moment being between the United States and Iran; the Russian versus Ukraine which has gone on since 2023 and the war in Sudan. From unfeeling and lack of consideration for the economic health of other nations, the Strait of Hormuz is being closed to engender economic blockade. The frequency of chaos and confusion, the acceleration and intensification of catastrophes, natural or man-made are there for all to see—and, indeed, the unusual character of the happenings. Most events have brought horror, unrest, scandals and death!

Isaiah looking into these times said: “Take counsel together and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: For God is with us.” (Isaiah 8:10). The prophecy, according to those who stand in knowledge, is to be interpreted to mean that it is the great time of perplexity in which one conference follows another when distress is everywhere, unrest and uneasiness, when hopeless confusion spreads ever more. Isaiah went on to state: “The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it, and it shall fall, and not rise again.” (Isaiah 24:20).

As I did state in January, what we are experiencing today as human beings is the manifestation of our inner, spiritual content, being awakened and enlivened through the pressure of the Light, of which the rays of the Great Comet are a part—animating, reinforcing and pressing down or lifting upwards.

The anniversary of the anchorage of the Light which could only have occurred with the presence of the Son of the Light, the anchorage which brought with it the last phase of the transition in the development and maturity of our world, of us mankind, of our universe, Ephesus, and Judgment as the feature of the Cosmic Turning-Point took place last Tuesday. But mankind was in slumber. That anniversary four days ago afforded us an opportunity on the one hand and served as a reminder of man’s sojourn to reflect on our lives on the other–the purpose of life and whether it is being fulfilled. That the great Day passed unnoticed is proof that human ideas and expectations are scarcely in harmony, in fact if at all, with Divine fulfilment.

Xenophobic Attacks and Responsibility

The xenophobic attacks on migrants in South Africa must necessarily give cause for worry. These were largely mob attacks with those involved carrying and wielding all manner of cudgels as they breathlessly pursued their targeted fellow human beings. It was horrifying seeing the mob in action on television and videos! And as reports claim, although Africans from some other countries were victims, the attacks were mainly directed at Nigerians. After drawing up a list of transgressions against them, particularly Nigerians, Black South Africans embarked on an orgy of hate and destruction against Nigerians, fellow Blacks, fellow Africans. It was Blackman’s inhumanity to Blackman, curiously directed at citizens of the old frontline states. On Wednesday, the House of Representatives getting into the debate, made reference to combined efforts and pressure mounted by the frontline states in the days of liberation struggle to dismantle apartheid in the place. According to Babajimi Benson going down memory lane, Nigeria committed enormous diplomatic, political and financial resources to the liberation movement.

It is truly painful; it hurts seeing Nigerians disembarking from the aircraft clutching little children and few belongings typical of people fleeing a war zone. About 1,500 Nigerians were ferried back home, to safety. It is elating and reassuring that despite the pains, the House handled the issue maturely and reassuringly. It was also good that the Senate rejected Senator Adam Oshiomhole’s craving for an orgy of vengefulness against South African economic interests in Nigeria.

The attacks have been like a recurring decimal. The attacks in South Africa first occurred in 2008, the second seven years later, that is 2015; then in 2017; in 2019 and yet another in 2021 and now in 2026. These are no doubt provocative and lend themselves to temptation of vengefulness. That cannot be the way to go. The Reps did very well. They have asked that the losses be computed, Nigeria must show leadership and the maturity that defines it. In 2019, Nigerians went on a destructive spree attacking Nigerian enterprises in which South Africans have substantial interests, what Lai Mohammed rightly and strongly condemned, seeing it as Nigerians shooting themselves in the foot. It was Nigerian companies that were being destroyed mindlessly and gleefully. These companies provide employment to thousands of Nigerians. They are not known to have broken our laws nor were they known to have instigated the attacks on Nigerians in South Africa. An account that year stated that in the weeks of hate on both sides of the divide no fewer than 32 Nigerians had been killed when the figures of 2017 and 2019 were put together.

While our worry goes to the hapless victims of the xenophobic attacks, we would want to demonstrate greater concerns for the perpetrators of the evil, were we to have a faint idea of how the mechanisms that govern life and existence, the entire creation work. How many are convincingly aware that for every thought, every speech, how much more deeds, products of thoughts, there is attached responsibility and corresponding consequence? We are living in a world in which ignorance is bliss! But ignorance is no defence in the incorruptible and immutable Laws of Creation. What we believe is unimportant, once it is stamped with thought volition, the originator bears responsibility and sooner or much, much later he must render account. Why account? It may be asked. The way it works is that the pure power of the Creator streams unceasingly down to the world in invisible radiation threads holding, urging and furthering life and existence and our world. This pure power is neutral and we account to the minutest for the way and to what end we have used it.

What I am getting at is that South Africans who were involved in blind vengeful rage in the season of unreason have heaped truckloads of hot charcoal on their own heads.

TO BE CONCLUDED NEXT WEEK: We have driven away the fox, we may need to sit down with the hen. For every effect, there must be cause. What are the psychometrics of the crisis? WE should look into this so that these painful experiences can be prevented from re-occurring.
