In a statement issued by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu praised Cuong’s commitment to positioning Vietnam as a “trusted partner and responsible member of the international community.”
He also highlighted the longstanding, friendly relations between Nigeria and Vietnam, particularly in trade and cultural exchange, which he noted are grounded in mutual goals for peace and development.

Tinubu also expressed hope that Cuong’s leadership would bring success in serving both the people of Vietnam and the broader international community.
