The Lagos chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has called for registration for the eighth Lagos Digital Public Relations Summit, which will take place at the Sheraton Lagos Hotel from 18th to 19th October 2023.

Organised in collaboration with Upticomm Marketing Company, this year’s edition will focus on Reinventing Public Relations Proficiencies with AI.

In a statement on Wednesday, Lagos NIPR Chairperson, Mrs. Comfort Nwankwo; and Chief Reputation Strategist of Upticomm Marketing Company, Mr. Segun McMedals said: “To learn more and sign up to attend the summit, interested marketing communication professionals can visit the website at https://lagosdigitalprsummit.com/. For streamlined registration on mobile devices, a unique QR code has been developed.

“The investment to enroll is N150,000 per person. However, a discount of N10,000 would be given for payments made before Friday, 5th October, at the latest. Attendees will earn a Certificate of Participation and the coveted honorary Lagos Digital PR Ambassadorship”.

According to the organisers, this year’s edition is essential training for young and mid-level communication practitioners, especially millennials, Gen Z, and young-minded Gen X aspiring to leverage AI applications to improve their efficiency and remain competitive. The summit, they further said, would outline several solutions and provide details on how they can move forward in using AI technology to create better content that engages a multi-channel audience while building trust and reputation.
