African News magazine brings Voice Achievers Award 2025 to Lagos

The CEO of African News magazine, Pastor Elvis Iruh has announced that the Voice Achievers Award 2025 will take place at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos on Friday (today).

The Nigerian, who is based in the Netherlands, said that African News, which has been a prominent publication since August 1999, is celebrating over 26 years of existence.

He said that the event is divided into two segments, the Business Dialogue which is in partnership with Dutch Embassy in Nigeria, and the award night.

Iruh further said: ‘For the first time in Nigeria, I am organising The Voice Achievers Award which is a pet project of my publication: The Voice News magazine among other charitable engagements we are involved in different parts of Africa.

‘The vision of the magazine is to positively project the image of Africa and work towards its advancement.

‘To make this event possible today, I have received the support, sponsorship and the use of this property, TTA Property owned by Engr. Anthony Nwajei, a Diaspora who has come back home to invest in the economic of the country in various capacities. I have invited him to join me at this press conference, actually today is the official opening of the facility but that is slated for 3 pm today.

‘Engr. Nwajei is among the 35 persons that would be recognised at this event on Friday 28 November 2025. He is based in the Gambia and travels across Europe for his business network. If time permit, you may be able to ask him few questions.

‘Back to the coming event; this award event in Nigeria will be the 14th edition and after successfully hosting it in the Netherlands severally, once in Dubai, twice in Kenya and once in The Gambia, I felt it was time to come home.

‘I know and understand the challenges at home but I felt we should still celebrate our hard work and legacy and look beyond the problems in order to keep hope alive. A people without hope is dead, we would continue to play our part to keep hope alive’.
