ADC unveils 2027 governorship candidates across 28 states

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has unveiled its governorship candidates and running mates for the 2027 general elections across 28 states.

The party’s spokesperson, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, disclosed this in a statement issued on Friday, saying the candidates were selected to represent the ADC’s commitment to providing Nigerians with credible leadership and a viable political alternative.

Abdullahi described the candidates as men and women who would carry the party’s banner into the 2027 elections.

The ADC governorship candidates and their running mates are:

Abia: Kalu Kalu Agu — Alozie Ogadinma Darlington

Adamawa: Modibbo Hammantukur Ribadu — Aguwa Kevin Iliya

Akwa Ibom: Akpanudoedehe John James — Nsien Mkpombuk Tommy

Bauchi: Halliru Dauda Jika — Sama’ila Mohammed Kabir

Benue: Herman Iorwase Hembe — Abba John Abba

Borno: Babagana Buhari — Mamman Dauda

Cross River: Nkoyo Toyo — Okwocho Andrew Adagbor
