Destalker Laughter Crusade, which holds in Lagos on Sunday 7 August, is set to feature top comedy acts including Alibaba, AY, Gordons, Gbenga Adeyinka the 1st. Singer Reminisce is also scheduled to perform.

According to the event organisers, the show promises to be all shades of fun and excitement, as it is more than a comedy show but a crusade experience.

Destalker said: “My show coming up on 7 August 2022 will be one of the biggest comedy events to happen this year.

“We will be having two shows, one on the red carpet and the other in the main Eko Hotel Hall”.

Born Desmond Oghenekowhoyan Onaibe, Destalker has remained a force to reckon with in the Nigerian comedy industry.

In 2019, he won Naija FM Comedy Awards (Comedian of the Year category) and hasn’t relinquished that award to any other comedian.

Late last year he also emerged Humour Awards comedian of the year having been nominated alongside Kennyblaq, Acapella, MC Edo Pikin, among other acts.

Ahead of the show, Destalker told newsmen: “I laugh hard when I hear people say I came out of nowhere. I have been in Lagos for almost 14 years doing comedy. But the Grace finally found me about four years back and now I’m the Destalker you know”.
