The host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, announced the trio’s eviction during Sunday’s live show, leaving seven housemates in the house.
However, the eviction was revealed to be part of a twist in the season’s final stages, with Ricky, Tram and Temi Nkem expected to return to the house in the coming hours or days.
The three housemates had earlier secured immunity from the week’s eviction process after Barry exercised the ultimate veto power to exempt them.
Despite their apparent eviction, Ricky, Tram and Temi Nkem remain eligible for the N160 million grand prize.
The current season of the reality television show is scheduled to conclude on 4 October.
