Grammy-award-winning Nigerian artiste Burna Boy has achieved another major feat in his career with his fans thrilled about his achievement.

The Common Person crooner has sold out an 80,000 capacity Stadium in London, UK, becoming the first African artiste to solo headline a UK stadium.

The concert, a part of Burna’s Love, Damini Tour, was held on Saturday, and saw electrifying performances from Burna himself and international acts like JHus, Stormzy, Dave, and more.

Burna performed some of his hit singles to a screaming crowd, alongside unreleased records including his single with JHus from the latter’s highly anticipated album ‘Don’t Say Militancy’.

In an interview with London Stadium, Burna spoke on his will to make history and put to rest doubts about his prowess.

“London Stadium is going to be my fairground! I’ve been told that I couldn’t achieve anything because of where I came from. I hope this can show people that when you have a dream it doesn’t matter where you’ve come from, your dream can come true. This is going to be legendary, it’s history and I can’t wait for you all to be a part of that,” he said.

Over the years, the Love Damini act has made history with his artistry selling out the Arena in London, and the 40,000-capacity La Defense Arena in Paris on Saturday, 20th May.

Social media users have since taken to different platforms to celebrate the African Giant.

Since his emergence on the scene in 2012 with the hit single ‘Like to Party,’ Burna has continued to thrive, breaking into the international scene with his hit 2018 single ‘Ye’. He has since then become a force to reckon with in the entertainment industry.
