A former Head of Department of Arts and Social Sciences Education at University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Prof. David Olugbade Fakeye was on Thursday in Abuja inducted into the Nigerian Academy of Education.
The ceremony brought excitement to the Faculty of Education, Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Ibadan, which is regarded as the Hall of Fame of Education in Nigeria.
This prestigious honour marks a significant milestone in Fakeye’s illustrious career, underscoring his unwavering dedication and substantial contributions to the field of education.
Renowned for his innovative teaching methods and research, Fakeye has been a pivotal figure in promoting effective educational practices. His commitment to fostering a love for learning and relentless advocacy for student success have left a lasting impact on both his colleagues and students alike.
