Nigeria crashed out of the continent’s elite football club competition, the CAF Champions League on Sunday in the first round.
Nigerian champions Enyimba were eliminated following a goalless outcome against Al-Ahly Benghazi of Libya in Aba in the second leg. The Libyans scaled through on a 4-3 aggregate.

Enyimba were overwhelming favourites to win the first round second tie after a battling display in the first leg.
The two-time African champions were, however, let down by their profligacy in front of goal.

The visitors put up a spirited defensive display to stop Enyimba from getting the much-needed goal.
