FESTAC @45: Obi of Onitsha honoured

The Obi of Onitsha, His Majesty Nnaemeka Achebe, Agbogidi  has been conferred with an Award of Excellence for outstanding contributions to the promotion and propagation of African culture.

This was at a ceremony held in Abuja to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the Second World Black and African Festival of Arts and Culture (FESTAC 77).

Themed “Celebrating Black and African Arts and Civilisation: Reliving FESTAC @45”, the event was organised by the Centre for Black and African Arts and Civilisation.
