Flying Eagles midfielder moves to Esperance

Four-time CAF Champions League champions, Espérance Sportive de Tunis have completed the signing of former Flying Eagles midfielder, Onuche Ogbelu.

Ogbelu penned a three-year contract with the Blood and Gold.

The Tunisian side announced the player’s arrival on their official website.

“We warmly welcome Onuche Ogbelu and wish him a fruitful and successful career in the colour of the club,” the Tunisian club said in a statement.

“Supporters are eager to see him at work on the pitch and to witness his development within the team.”

The youngster was in the books of Nasarawa United last season.

He was part of Nigeria’s Flying Eagles squad to the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt early this year.
