In recognition of its performance in setting standards of excellence in executed brand strategy, experiential marketing, digital integration, product development and integrated experience, GDM Group, Nigeria’s leading marketing and media technology company, on Sunday, bagged five awards at the Experiential Marketers Association of Nigeria (EXMAN) 10th anniversary awards and gala night held in Lagos.

Renowned for bespoke service offerings ranging from marketing tech solutions, big data management and 360 integrated marketing services, GDM Group clinched Gold in the Best Use of Digital in an Activation; Silver in both the Best Merchandising Solution Modern Trade; and the Best Use of Actionable Data and Insights categories; and Bronze in the Best Event (B2C); and the Best Shopper Activation Open Market category.

A sectoral trade body for forward-looking experiential marketing communications agencies, EXMAN exists to support, promote and defend the interests of over 45 member agencies, with total billing of over N30 billion through comprehensive core services and platforms.

Founder/Chief Executive Officer of GDM Group, Victor Afolabi stated said the award reflects his company’s vision of integrating future thinking as an improved way of doing business and adding value to clients across different sectors in the marketing industry in Nigeria.

EXMAN outgoing President, Mr. Tunji Adeyinka said that the event was organised to appreciate and celebrate the contributions of the professionals in the association for the past 10 years of its existence. The occasion celebrated the achievements of outstanding agencies and individuals whose footprints are indelible in the industry.

Distinguished industry leaders and stakeholders, including Director-General of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria, Dr Olalekan Fadolapo; President of AAAN/Chairman of IAA Nigeria, Steve Babaeko; and President of the Media Independent Practitioners Association of Nigeria, Femi Adelusi graced the occasion.
