Lagos NIPR congratulates new NIMN Registrar, Thelma Okoh

The Lagos Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has congratulated its member, Mrs. Thelma Okoh on her appointment as the Registrar of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN).

Okoh, who was a member of the NIPR Governing Council until last month, will be succeeding Patience Sado as NIMN Registrar.

Her appointment, which comes at a critical time in Nigeria’s evolving marketing and communication landscape, reflects her dedication, competence, and distinguished service to the profession.

On the appointment, Chairman of the Lagos Chapter of NIPR, Dr. Samuel Ayetutu, said: ‘Mrs. Thelma Okoh is a consummate professional whose career reflects excellence, leadership, and resilience. Her elevation to this strategic role is well-deserved and inspiring to many, especially women in the marketing and communication space. We look forward to greater collaboration between NIMN and NIPR as we work together to promote ethical standards, capacity building, and innovation across our professions’.

Okoh, who previously served as Secretary of the Lagos Chapter for two terms and twice as a member of the NIPR Governing Council, was announced as Registrar at the NIMN Annual General Meeting held in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital.

The Lagos Chapter of NIPR said it extends its warmest wishes for a successful tenure and assures the new Registrar of its goodwill and support as she takes on this important leadership responsibility.
